Not so sleepy

Not so sleepy anymorePune’s been busy with hustling around and dancing and music for the ganesh festival. You wont believe how quiet the aftermath was. The weekend following the immersion, Pune was a sleepy village. Deserted streets welcomed a few riders (like yours truly). Sheer joy travelling on the ‘old Pune’ kind of roads. Sundays are usually slow here, but even Friday and Saturday were absolutely still this time. And special credit to the Pune Commissioner of Police who made sure the noise and celebration did not cross tolerable limits.And now, its back to normal. The grind!
